Gaddafi was well known about the consequences ,but the dictator,arrogant , greedy, selfish he himself in tension, agony and fate is not good. he is endanger state. he may be killed by his aides. condition is not favorable to him. now it is an ideal way to to surrender or exiled himself involuntarily.
