i am agree with the statement of senior official that the petrol is a rich man's fuel.because the official is using the fuel on the cast of govt and may be obligatory to him. after retirement when he will purchase the petrol from his own pocket then he will realizes the the cost of fuel. we know it is an international policy. but we have to think about the increasing the cost, how to meet the cost and what will be the effect of the cost on the public. now we are facing corruptions, price hikes, non availabilities of daily needs like water,milk, pure air, grains, vegetables.we are unable to understand the trends of the govt policy. one option is in my hands to boycott the usage of vehicles that is impracticable . a time will come when vehicles are the show pieces of the house.reconsider on this issue
